Role and Responsibilities
Larry’s responsibilities are everything from estimation, management, and trouble-shooting problems that arise and overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations. His main focus is to visit with the client on a regular basis to check on any pending issues and to make sure that we are meeting the needs of the client. He also visits the project sites to check the overall status of the project, including quality control and time management. Larry is very accessible to his clients and creates such relationship with each client, so that he can accessible via phone, in person or via e-mail.
Background Information
Larry has had over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry in various capacities. He started by working summers during high school and college for a residential construction crew. After receiving his Bachelor Degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Business Administration, he went to work for the Choctaw Nation in the CDBG program. He worked his way up to a Cabinet-Level Director and Project Developer, where he was responsible for tribal construction projects. He worked for the Choctaw Nation for 12 years before going into business for his self. He has had extended education in Construction contracting, Quality Management Operation, Indian Community Block Grant implementation and certification in Lead-Based Paint.
Experience
Larry has had the unique qualification of working for a Tribe as a Project Developer and also, from the other side, as the General Contractor. He has the knowledge and expertise of having worked on both sides, the Tribe and the General Contractor. He knows the importance of meeting deadlines, HUD guidelines, CDBG requirements and the overall implementation of a quality project. The 25 years of experience has covered all basis of the construction phases, from hands-on laborer to an Owner’ Representative for major projects to a General Contractor meeting the needs of the individual Tribes.

Role and Responsibilities
Pat’s roles and responsibilities are very important to our company’s operation. Pat handles all of the accounts and billing for our projects. She also assists Larry in day-to-day operations at the job sites. Pat corresponds with our job superintendents on a daily basis to verify the progress of each project. This information helps her prepare the billing for each projects as well as monitoring costs of the project so that we stay within budget and on time. Pat is also involved with the scheduling of our projects. She stays in touch with any and all subcontractors to make sure they are on schedule and turning in information needed for the project. Pat also corresponds with project architects and owner to handle any discrepancies or issue that may arise with the project.
Background Information
Pat started out her career as an educator. She received her Bachelor of Science in Home Economics with a Minor in Business, from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She was an Educator for over 20 years. Pat has assisted Larry with his company since its inception. She was a teacher by day and construction office secretary by night. After having a successful and fulfilling career as an educator, she left teaching to help Larry full time with his flourishing construction company. Pat has been a full time secretary/treasurer for Larry Finch Building Corp. since 2005.
Experience
Pat has overseen and managed the construction of all of our projects since she has been with Larry Finch Building Corp. Through her experience working with Larry Finch Building Corp., she knows all the construction processes, paperwork, rules and regulations that go along with this industry. She has worked with several different types of projects. She knows what paperwork is required for any kind of project, whether it be tribal project or federally funded HUD project. Pat knows what goes in to each and every project to keep all aspects of the job running smoothly. Pat is considered a key aspect of the organization of Larry Finch Building Corp.
